Join us for a special spring outing as the 1457 Society visits Montrose Golf Links on Friday 24th April — a day steeped in history on one of the game’s most storied stages.
We’ll be playing the 1562 Championship Course, officially recognised as the 5th oldest golf course in the world. Set beside the North Sea, this classic links demands thoughtful shot-making and offers a wonderfully authentic test of traditional golf.
Our first tee time is 12:04pm, with the field heading out through the afternoon. After the round, we’ll reconvene in the clubhouse to enjoy food and good company, rounding off what promises to be a memorable day.
This is a members-only 1457 Society event, with places limited to preserve the relaxed, sociable feel that defines our gatherings.
